"I'm absolutely honoured and delighted to support AIDS 2000.
It's especially important to me because it is a Northern Ireland Charity. I will continue to visit the province to help
support the charity and fundraise whenever I can.
I hope I can break down the barriers and raise awareness of AIDS in Northern Ireland and the U.K.
I was shocked at the level of ignorance here, especially at how little people know about AIDS, and that most people still think it is a problem which only exists in the gay community.
The fact is that the number of cases among heterosexual couples is rising."
